Pure copywriting era. David Ogilvy is basically the godfather of advertising, and this book is him just… telling you how it's done. Old school, direct, no fluff. If you want to understand what actually makes people buy, this is a classic. Some of it is dated but the principles? Timeless. My life principle is simple, understand the basics or the base and you'll understand the rest, so by going back in time to the principles that were used in past, I was able to understand what works now. Amazing book for advertisement.
