About George Babakhanov

I'm George (Gosha), an AI and full-stack engineer in Toronto. I ship production software -> the ERP that runs Avateq end to end, email and matching systems at LOCVM, and Kava, an iOS app I co-founded. I started building companies at 16 and I learn by building, breaking and fixing. Next -> a startup team in San Francisco.

Questions

Who is George Babakhanov?

I'm George Babakhanov, an AI and full-stack engineer in Toronto, moving to San Francisco. I ship production software -> the ERP that runs Avateq, the matching engine and email notifications at LOCVM, and Kava, an iOS app I co-founded.

What are you working on now?

I'm launching Kava with Keyon, doing full-stack work at LOCVM (the matching engine, email notifications and AI tooling), AI/ML and full-stack work at Avateq, and an open source charge-level feature for the notch in vorssaint-utils, now in review.

What are you learning now?

How models work under the hood: inference, AI architectures and the math behind models. I don't know it all yet, and that is the work I want to do.

Are you open to work?

Yes. I'm looking for a startup team in San Francisco. Email me at gosha.babakhanov@gmail.com.

What do you build with?

I use whatever the job needs. The Avateq ERP runs on Yii2 (PHP), PostgreSQL, FastAPI services and JavaScript, its failover node on Python, systemd and Keepalived, and Sendable ran on AWS. I use AI coding agents every day, and I wrote about how to use them without getting worse at engineering.
