Exactly what it says. I was in my learning-about-money phase and wanted to actually understand stocks - not just "buy index funds" but like, what is actually happening. Good starting point. Not deep, but it gets you oriented. Still use the principles inside this book to keep up with investments, and just see how things in the world are moving and how to grow my money on the side.
