This is my favourite book right now. And I mean that. Here's the thing - most self-development books are basically the same book. Different author, different examples, different angle… same ideas. You finish them and you're like okay I get it. But this one is completely different. It's a story. Like a novel. And through the story it teaches you things about who you actually are - your beliefs, your fears, what's really stopping you - in a way that hits you differently than someone just explaining it to you. Same with The Alchemist. Something about learning through a story just lands deeper. It's my favourite format now. And I am re-reading this book every year.
